Great podcast, but I am a bit disappointed with this episode as the guest sounded incompetent. The guest speaks about some new European standard of daily recommended dose of vitamin D of 10,000 IU. The Tolerable Upper Intake Level of vitamin D is 2000 IU in the DRIs. The dose that the guest mentions is not only false it can also cause severe consequence of long-term overdosing such as elevated levels of calcium in the blood (National Institutes of Health, 2018b).
